I'm building my first carrier, and I have some questions about how boarding combat works: - It looks like it would be possible to board an enemy ship twice in one turn, with a direct boarding attack and a shuttle launched a couple of turns earlier. Is this correct? If there are two combats, can the same combat crew fight both? What about the shuttle pilot?
- If two ships board each other on the same turn, do they fight two different battles? With different crews? If all the battles are separate, in theory, you could have 4 boarding combats in one turn.

No actually only one boarding event will occur

If you send two boarding shuttles on the same turn, then one of them will wait patiently for the next turn to launch the combat. This is actually not a good idea, since it sits there absorbing fire. I have rarely seen the enemy attempt boarding (on "hard" difficulty) but I suppose you could have one friendly combat, and one enemy combat on the same turn.

They'll board you and other times will fail.
