Like we really need a place and excuse to post. fallen you know once the Alpha crew shows up, you couldn't stop us from posting and talking about the next great TB game even if you wanted too. We go full T-800. Listen, and understand! Those Alpha backers are out there! They can't be bargained with. They can't be reasoned with. They don't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. They absolutely will not stop... ever, until the Kickstarter is funded and CK2 is made!

Feel free to move this to wherever but I do have a question.
I super enjoyed the open world aspect of CK and as there's nobmention of it in the CKF draft I assume CKF doesn't have as much of an open world aspect?
Would greatly appreciate the clarification, thanks.

Maybe echoing Bullgod's question, maybe not so much. Is Cyberknights Flashpoint intended as a sequel to cyberknights?
I have the pro version and I think a sequel would be awesome!
I also think an open world would be slick as well!

Yes mirror it is CK2. Something a few of us have been bugging the TB's about for a long time.

For example, there will be no long periods of walking from building to building. There are a lot of open world, open ended gameplay in Cyber Knights: Flashpoint and we believe the result is really fun.

I felt that the last kickstart took entirely too long to deliver. The experience has caused me to be wary about future kickstarts. Not on the team's capacity to deliver, but just the issue of time. I couldn't tell you precisely how long it was from start to finish on the last, but it seemed long. Do I have an incorrect perspective on how long something like this should take? Was the previous kickstart actually behind schedule to what the team would have liked? I'm definitely a fan, and would like to help out, but this last experience sullied things for me. Maybe it's just my expectations were wrong. What say you?

Generic Knight in the end, only you can decide for yourself whether or not to join the Kickstarter. There's lots of things that are beyond the control of the TB's that could result in a delay. If the time from when you spend your money till the time you get the product is really important to you, I would say wait till the game is released to market.

Maybe it's just my expectations were wrong. What say you? Sorry to hear that the game made you wary of Kickstarters. Yes, Star Traders: Frontiers Kickstarter did indeed take longer than we estimated it would when we ran the campaign. We did our best to keep in constant communications with 96 updates over the years. We've learned a lot with each new game we have created. Star Traders: Frontiers went to Kickstarter as only a design. Cyber Knights: Flashpoint design was started in early 2019, pre-production started over the summer and we're in production stage now. Our aim is to make the alpha available to players this year, by the end of 2020. STF alpha ran 11 months. Then 9 months early access. Then 6 months to port the game to mobile. Hope it helps! You'll have to decide, but if you're uncomfortable with it, you can buy the game when it launches.

Hi fallen , I can't wait to join the CKF alpha team, as I really love turn-based tactics&strategy games! I'll sign in as soon as the Kickstarter kicks off! XD One little question though... I see that the Ultra edition will let backers get several kinds of in-game exclusive equipment & history-expanding rewards which I'm sure I'll enjoy so much in my PC Steam Ultra Edition release, but then CKF will reach iOS mobile devices too, and I'm keen to play it on my iPad too - so I wondered whether it'll be possible at that future time to purchase a sort of "Ultra Edition" of the iOS mobile port too, so that I might have all the goodies both on my PC as well as my iPad. XD
