Holy heck, my death count just went up by three in the last 90 seconds. Evesse has a range of 15+ and can kill any of my characters in 1 round? How in the samhill am I supposed to get close enough to kill her crystal, let alone her? Do I have to reset the whole fight and destroy her crystal first and then the other two in rapid succession so I have a fighting chance? Because right now, this seems impossible. I must be missing something important here.

I must be missing something important here. Interesting ... what level are you? What armor are you wearing? How much damage is Evesse doing per hit? Have you looked at any +Armor or +HP buffs that you coudl use, even from items? Tomes of Giant Strength, Mountain Tome, etc and then stack Tomes to increase the buff length. You can double your HP and armor for the fight, that would be my suggestion. |

I am lvl 64. Using all the paid chars. Pally obviously is the only one with heavy armor, I don't think she's taken a hit yet - I lost rogue twice and duellist once. I have all my character buffs cast already, I can try the tome that adds 200HP& MP, but that's my only item buff for HP, and I don't see any armor item buffs in my inventory. I don't recall what she is doing for each hit, but 3 hits wipes out a PC. I suspect pally is the only one who will be able to endure a single round without dying, but I'll test it.  |

varentai - you've hit her with -2 AP curse? Don't ever let her get 3 attacks!!! You might drop back to the town to look at their items for sale for more buffs.

I can't get near enough to her to hit her with a curse - her range is at least 15+. She's killing me from so far away, I can't get anyone close. It's crazy! Is she supposed to have that far of a range?

Is she supposed to have that far of a range? She is intended to have very long range, yes. She is intended to be able to hit you throughout the battle basically even if you are off trying to ignore her. Can you post some screenshots of your group build? What difficulty are you on? I am asking because other players have identified really hard moments in the final dungeon but you're the first to post Evesse as a high challenge mark. |

It may be partially that she's in a marvelous sniping position where I have to cross an entire bridge before I can then turn towards her and try to close. I'm exposed the entire way. I may have to try and draw her out and away so I can get to her crystal. And I thought once combat started, we can't go down stairs again. I'll get some screenshots up when I get a chance. Doing taxes for the next little while, yay!  |
