I play mostly with torpedoes and I loot almost every ship that takes the foolish decision to fight me. The down side of that, of course, is having to click on each individual resource, go into another screen, select the amount of resources you want to take, and finally click "Take" (or was it "Done?"... either way pretty close).
To me that honestly feels super awkward and take a little bit of the fun of looting since it can get quite repetitive to do this with a few select resources that you want to take. Yes the "Take All" button is nice for people who don't mind getting their cargoes full of all types of resources and then wasting countless additional "weeks" going through each individual item and selling it... because let's be honest we've all had contracts get expired when we get a little too shoppy and forget to take into account that time runs amok even when buying/selling 1 single item. It is probably also nice for people who are friends with everyone and they don't mind landing on the nearest planet at any given time to sell all their cargo; but let's also be real here and recognize that that is a tiny fraction of all of the players and the vast majority of us will not have the luxury of landing on the nearest planet the whole time.
Even for people who decide to be Syndicate OR Clan Heroes, it can get quite frustrating to get your cargo full with 2-3 "Take All" lootings and then having to nit-pick their cargoes on the next encounter, individually choosing what to leave and take in and from the enemy ship.
This is why I really believe that "Take All" and "Leave All" button on each individual resource in the enemy ship's cargo hold is ESSENTIAL to make the game run more naturally smooth. Players like myself who love to torpedo everything that moves (well at least doing it to get the "Blackheart" and "Independent Captain" achievements) HAVE to pick and choose which items are worth/not worth taking since sometimes it's a LONG way in between Independent Planets. In the late game when you get a new encounter almost every single turn this is also ESSENTIAL to prevent from encumbering your ship with what would otherwise be junk to a player.
Not having to switch between screens multiple times in each encounter (for us picky looters at least) would make the game soo much more playable!
Tl;dr: Just simple "Take All" and "Leave All" buttons to interact with each individual type of resource in the enemy ship's cargo hold to not get completely encumbered and make the game run A LOT smoother for us Looters!
Thank you very much Devs for reading and have an awesome year!
