How hard would it be to add, every time you enter an Inn, a toast that says 'you have never spent a night at this hotel' or ' you last slept here <date> (X days ago)'. I'd like my pda to remember such things, as well, or at least the last 4 places you sleep, so that when it
comes time to find a hotel, if you cannot remember where you have been sleeping lately,
you can look it up.

But if you can't remember, haven't you been promiscuous enough for it not to matter? Wouldn't a "ask siri for the nearest doctor with penicillin in stock" pda function be even more helpful?

when i cannot rememb er it generally means that something in real life -- sleeping, meals, work -- intervened.

Yes, I agree that these should be logged in our PDAs under the Notes section. In fact, our Notes should look something like...
Step 1: Tap "PDA".
Step 2: Tap "Notes"
Step 3: Menu shows categories; "Encounters", "Nights Spent" & "Events"
Clicking on "Encounters" will show:
a) Map which encounter took place.
b) What kind of encounter was it.
c) Date & Time.
d) Participating group (if any) of the encounter; e.g. Black Hearts, BraveStar Riot Squad...
e) Outcome of encounter; e.g. Burnt by Spy, Defeated KH Response Squad...
Clicking on "Nights Spent" will show:
a) Map & Building which resting took place.
b) Any changes in Skills & Attributes.
c) Date & Time.
d) Amount of Heat lost.
Clicking on "Events" will show:
a) Map & Building which event took place.
b) Who said what; e.g. Vinny the Rat said he will fix contracts for me.
c) Date & Time.
d) Outcome of Events; e.g. Obtained V-Chip.

@bg Right on. That was pretty good. I understand the size it would take for an Notepad type of addition to the PDA Notes section too.
plus to add to the list presented by @bg
likely additions:
*Hours played
*how far you have run on foot
*how many times you have used taxis ( possibly even broken down by taxi driver too)
*times used a river raft.
*times stayed at hotels
*hours/turns in game spent at hotel
*¥ spent on taxis
*¥ spent on river rafts
*¥ spent on hotels
*¥ spent on weapons
*¥ spent on cyberware
*¥ spent on drugs
*# of medkits used
*# of medkits extended w/ Electronics
etc etc
it could be a simple data file
I love little stat pages like this.
