I was playing today and had the opportunity to capture a great enemy ship, except when the victory screen came up, the ship had 40 of 30 cargo, and as my holds were full, it wouldn't allow me to capture the ship, as it complained it had too much cargo, so I had to let it go.
Is it normal for the game to cheat like this and have more cargo than normally allowed? If so, then the game should not complain about too much cargo, if it allowed it in the first place. If it isn't normal, then you have a bug somewhere which gives computer ships too much cargo.

I will look into this. It is possible that it could occur but would be very rare.
I will see about finding a way to reduce the chances of it happening.

Well, even if there managed to be too much cargo, the thing to do is to jettison some, not make the ship uncapturable.

Better to stop than the mess up the game tho, right?
I'll keep trying to improve!
