I recently started back up on my Heroes of Steel game in the middle of Episode 4 on my iPad. However, now when I start or resume the game, and frequently at other times, it pops up a notice with the title "Game Center Disabled".
The text is "Game Center is disabled. Try logging in through the Game Center" and has two blue buttons at the bottom: "Open Game Center" and "OK". Clicking on either button does nothing, but clears the notice so I can play until the next one appears.
Previously it was also complaining at the end of every melee turn that it couldn't get to game center to update my achievements and something about passwords (I think?), but it's not doing it right now, so I cannot give the exact message.

I should mention for those who may not know, the Game Center is no longer an app (I've heard that it is a "service") and there's no apparent way for me to fix this wrt Game Center itself. I have recently changed my Apple account password (last week), but everything else is working.

Oh wait, it just happened again: the end of melee message title is "Achievement Submission Failed!", with body text "Reason: The requested operation could not be completed because local player has not been authenticated." and then a single OK button, which clears it until the end of the next melee round. (this is the more annoying/disruptive part)
