Lesson from this Captain was that sometimes it is worth running out to the edge of the Elite map and checking around for rumors. He found a Weapon surplus on Thulun world with 2700 Units. Took 10 years to sell off that cache  |

Nice. Nothing worse than hearing a surplus rumour and finding 8 units on arrival.

If you visit the planets and note the Economy rating you can easily predict where a Surplus will be a boom or a bust.
