Suggestion for a new talent: Wing Tech new talent to "Capture Craft" maybe lvl 15 requirement. Criteria: Victory in ship battle, enemy ship is not destroyed, Captain's ship has an open hangar bay and enemy ship has undestroyed craft either in flight or hangar bay. Talent would let you take a take a small craft. Similar to the "Loot Armory" Talent.

Thanks for the suggestion! We looked at this but found it to be extraordinarily complicated and would require a carrier captain to have an empty hangar bay to use.

What if we flip this a bit? What if there's a rule in Shalun law for RANSOMING smaller craft to another faction? So there's no spare bay needed, you take an extra (small) rep hit, and get a chunk of extra cash and a little conflict movement.

If not ransoming, then take it like a prize ship in battle so it goes to drydock. But you would need to be able to switch small craft in and out of dry dock to the ship hangar. Wish i could do that easily to play with them anyway.

perhaps just a extra salvage bonus for each fighter left would work.

Wouldn't it just make more sense to ransom the "whole package" as we already can do?
It doesn't make sense to me that a victorious captain wiling to hold a craft for ransom wouldn't ransom the rest of the ship as well.

Agreed. A couple of thoughts. 1) Maybe its more of a sell-off to the other faction involved in a War* Conflict. or 2) It might be an eye for value on the true worth of a particular ace ship or something, so it increases the overall price or something.
