Disappearing Missions when contact dies

When I running several mission for a contact and in this case, she, died.

When I got the planet for the mission, it disappeared.  (Which is as the game should work)

But when I check the captain logs' , I saw not mention of mission that disappear. 

Suggestion, is inside the captain's log, a statement(s) after that about the contact died, that the contact is died, mission is cancelled.

Thanks richard. This one is on our list both to include an event log (HUD) and captain's log when a mission is canceled.
