Selen: how do I get pb to get over damage soak

Probably already been answered, but I’ve literally read 3 full pages with all sub posts.

im running into mobs with 25 or more armor, and can’t get selen’s pb to proc b/c she keeps doing 0 damage. How do I get over this hump?  Working with Vraes as tank, Fyona for hs, and Vincent for debuffs/ tb, and going to es, but that’s in the future.  

does pb have a shelf life? Do I have to wait till Fyona and Vincent kick in?  Want to keep this group of chars: no switching out pls.

Give her a stronger blade or debuff the enemies before you attack with her or get higher levels of the talent to bump you over into the positive
