So, on the ST:F wiki, when describing various statuses, the Stealth section has this line:
"Stealth is a beneficial status effect, one which allows stealthy characters like Spies and Snipers to use powerful stealth attacks. This status effect lasts for a number of turns depending on the Talent used, and boosts Evasion and critical chance for the character."
Does this mean that the Stealth status increases Evasion? Because I couldn't find anything corroborating this, anywhere. All I see in most cases (particularly in the various skill descriptions that add the stealth status effect) is the Critical buff (10+Stealth).
I'm not talking about that passive bonus to Evasion from the Stealth Skill filling out Stealth Armor's Stealth Evade potential.
If Stealth status doesn't add Evasion, this line should probably be reworked.
Thanks!

Your Stealth skill can be used over Tactics skill in ranged defense as indicated in the wiki.
I believe the wiki is trying to say that "some stealthy buffs boost evasion" (via their buff, not some other rule)

Okay, thanks for the clarification.

Hmm... Having a hard time justifying high-end stealth investment/armor on my Swordsman/Assassin build plan... but I suppose Stealth Armor would be great for Spies and Assassins and Snipers that don't cross class heavily into an(other) Evasion class.
Too bad, I really wanted to use that Gux Armor!

Yep, Stealth Skill is less directly applicable in melee combat, face to face.
