I've got a few. Didn't see an open thread so here's mine.
1) (art) uniform gender discrepancy. I like to assign uniforms to crew dependent on their profession. It makes it easier for me to pick the pilots out from the crew dogs on the crew tab.
Unfortunately, while some uniforms have comparable options for both genders, not all do. I'd like to see more parity so i don't have to change the gender of the character to match the uniform.
2) Templar Contacts. The character I'm currently running has a little Templar influence, but without contacts he can't get permits, ranks or edicts. In addition to the normal type contacts, I'd like to see at least one that offers Templar equipment, (possibly ship equipment,) and another that can replace traits like xenophobe, greedy, jaded or spice addict/drunk. For the trait tweak optimally the player could choose both the trait to be replaced and the replacement trait, with a credit and influence cost scaled to both traits.
3) profession reset. New players are likely to make mistakes. I'm glad that i can retrain talents,I'd like to be able to do the same thing with professions. It's particularly annoying when a character has the optimum traits for a different role than their profession. Yes, you can turn that navigator into an officer to give them sniper/xeno hunter, but you cant change them into a sniper/xeno hunter/exo to maximize their ground team effectiveness. I've also only got so many officer slots. When a single profession crew has traits that would better fit a different profession, I'd like to be able to change them. If this is a tough row to hoe for all characters, creating a contact that can do it (see Templar Contacts above,) would work just as well for me.
4) faction equipment display on ship build: i can see the faction banner on the select screen, could we have the same banner stay on the item once slotted?
5) trade rating atlas display: the a to f overlay on the commodity icon is unclear for some icons, making the font for the overlay letter white outlined in black would make it clearer.
Commodity icons for commodities which are limited due to insufficient trade rank should be outlined in red, while those for which rank dependence is sufficient should be outlined in green.
