Hello all, first post here. Been playing Star Traders Elite for probably about 6 months now. I even emailed Cory once and he emailed me back pretty quick, which was really cool. This is the best phone game I've ever found and even better that there's real people behind it that care and take the time to engage the players. Now I've found there's even a forum for it with a bunch of people nuts about the game like me! ;D
Anyway, I wanted to post and ask about "Acknowledge". I was playing a Pirate on Hard. I had made it to level 18, had a fully upgraded Assault Hawk, and nobody could beat me. If I did engage someone in battle, I just boarded them with my 200 crew and beat them via Duel. I had negative rep with 4 out of 6, and had been a wanted criminal for quite a while. But life was good. I could do any mission I wanted and I sailed pretty much anywhere I wanted.
I had negative rep with House Thulun, but I also had military rank with them. It was kind of a love\hate relationship with them. Whenever I ran across their ships, I could choose to "acknowlege" them and go about my business. I had been doing this for many levels. Imagine my surprise when all of the sudden, after acknowledging, I got "GAME OVER". The military ship I acknowledged decided to arrest me becuase of my wanted criminal status. I guess my question is, why all of the sudden did that happen? I understand I was wanted, but I had been wanted for quite a while. I had acknowledged other House Thulun military ships and not gotten arrested. So why this time? What exactly is "Acknowledge"? I am guessing now it's not just tipping your hat at the other ship as you pass by each other.
