Hello all!
Been a bit but got back into Star Traders after a while and this time around completely changed my play-style.
Long story short my suggestion is this:
Max officers 9/54 for 9000 weight ships (ie. Cautela Titan & Sword Battlecruiser)
Reason being they are the only 2 of that weight class and arguably the most likely to have 54-crew. Based on the quasi-guideline of (weight) : (officers + crew) of the other ship classes it seemed somewhat odd the largest ships are limited to the same number of officers as mid-weight ships (personal fav. Aegis Freighter 7/36).
It's probably more of an almost cosmetic change as I don't think play balance would be throw out of whack with 2-additional officers in exchange for 1-medium or 2-small slots, and it would open up some more possibilities of playing a troop carrier type vessel for giggles.
Anyway that's all I have for the moment and I'll try to keep it down to a dull roar for things going forward
