I found some old posts about using Android emulators (and how they're really not worth the effort given the PC version is available on Steam).
However, I didn't see any posts about "ScrCpy". It's an app, installed on a PC, that allows access to an Android device screen. It requires the Android device to have Developer's Mode unlocked with USB Debugging turned on (which anyone who has done Helium backups will already have done).
I've found it helpful for getting a closer zoom-in by using a larger monitor, and even fully zoomed out being able to still see well enough to conduct larger combats. It also allows me to play on my Android phone whenever I want, and use the larger monitor when I happen to be home and near my PC, all using the same Android device and saved games (i.e. without the hassle of transferring files or playing different versions).
ScrCpy should work on any Android app, including other games. I initially tracked it down when trying to see the Heroes of Steel map better, but I've found it incredibly useful for other apps as well. In addition to seeing the screen on a larger monitor, it also allows keyboard and mouse access to apps, which is quite convenient.
(Note that the mouse in ScrCpy replicates touchscreen and the scroll wheel doesn't work in some apps, like Heroes of Steel, so it isn't perfect--and I'm certain the PC version is preferable when primarily using a PC to play--but having the convenience of the Android version with a slightly less robust user interface through ScrCpy on PC is a fair trade in my opinion).

You can actually run android apps directly on multiple desktop OS, if you really want to do that, you can also use chrome to run android games, although I personally dislike chrome for obvious reasons.

I know -- that's what I meant when I referred to emulators. I wouldn't bother with it because if I wanted to play on a PC I'd get the PC version of Heroes of Steel.
The ScrCpy advantage is that you have one installation of HoS with all your saved games on a single device. But you can play those games on either your device, or with a large monitor connected to a PC. No switching files or running multiple versions of HoS with different saved games on each device.
I love having HoS on my (large-screen) phone to play anywhere, but it's great to be able to have the exact same saved game on a much larger PC screen whenever I want. I just figured I'd share in case anyone wanted to do the same.

Lots of our fans have used BlueStacks over the years. And to a great success, I must say.
