absimiliard - you are completely correct. If you complete both parts of a pick-up job (pickup and delivery) then you get 2 XP and 2 payouts in credits.

0.6.43 includes the XP updates which have been discussed in this thread.
This includes the fact that if you complete the entire pickup job (both parts) you get +2 XP.
Feedback encouraged!
Also, please check the new alerts in capture / kill missions which try to make it more clear than "Job Complete" / "Job Failed" and give some explanation.

(snip) Negotiate - you get the XP and credits if you succeed in the test, only combat if you fail the test. You can gain the normal XP from combat (+1) [Max 1 XP] (snip) Having recently returned to the game, and thus the forum... wouldn't it make sense to succeed in the negotiations if you've killed everyone? ie: You got your point across by brute force.

Making your point by brute force, yes -- that should be worth someting (and it is now). But I think that making your point without using brute force should give you one more XP. And I think they should only pay their top rate if you succeed non-violently. Otherwise, the employer might as well have hired an assasination, which is cheaper than a negotiation. Presumably they wanted the negotiaton to succeed.
Welcome back.

Tsueg - resorting to violence is a definitely failure for negotiation. These types of Jobs are to insure a peaceful end to a conflict, to end a feud, to agree to some sort of collaboration between factions, or some such. If they wanted violence, then Threaten or Assassination would be the Job type.

Yea... I get what you are saying....
too bad tho, because I am realllllly good at the violence part of the game. I don't even hire extra runners to help me.
