Hello!
First off, awesome job as always with regards to the updates and balancing!
Second, Id like to propose a contact trait that will primarily spawn the function "Recruits Combat Medics". Ive been going through my contacts list and so far there are only 2 which provides CMs: Chaesin Researcher and Gestalt Technologist. Now I know these contacts may spawn as being introduced to by other contacts at the mercy of RNG, or Coalition Era Recruitment Rumour, but I didnt see any contact traits that provides CM.
Now this begs the question "Why in the world would you want a Combat Medic recruit? Your Doct-" if you finished that sentence, it means having to cross class doctors as a combat medic which makes sense but at the same time, it locks that one officer doctor to a combat crew which in every game he/she may not want to.
Now if ever this happens, this will bring about changes in the game that may allow us to specifically build combat crews requiring 1 officer and 3 crews i.e. XH/BH captain, combat medic crew, shock trooper crew, swordsman crew. This opens up your Doctor to be a Scientist/Scavenger or Scientist/Explorer, utilizing other talents from other jobs.
In addition to that, "Lifesaver" Contact trait can easily adapt that Discounted Medical feature as well.
Third, this maybe a longshot of sorts but if the Contact trait happens, maybe throw a New Starting Contact that gives Scientific Missions and Recruits Combat Medics as well?
Again these are just my suggestions since I dont want my starting Doctor to be a combat crew always. Thank you and more power!
