I just traveled to Illgard Temple [31,22]where the prince has just gone into hiding from an assassination attempt. Of course the palace just happens to be my drop off point for my $60k contract. I have 3 weeks to deliver - or wait for the prince to come back.  I didn't know about the prince's assassination attempt rumor until I landed. UPDATE: Three rounds of spice later the prince is still gone and so is my reward. |

That'll happen all of the time. Just because you didn't know about the rumor until you landed, doesn't mean that the rumor hadn't already existed. Not much you can do in this situation  |

It would be interesting to be able to shoot or talk your way into closed urban areas.
It's one thing to be able to serve a bounty on a guy hanging out at the Spice Hall on a backwater world. That's for chumps like Greedo.
It's another to be to be able to serve a bounty in a locked down palace or military stardock. That's where you need Boba Fett!

yep. new upgrades and officers will allow this.
also possible that an under boss will take bribes to allow access.

That's fantastic! Right now, I really want to haul in all of those Steel Song aligned scum, but they're just sitting at the Star Dock or the Palace thumbing their noses at me. I've got to wait until they go to deep space or a wild planet to hunt them down.

is there any way to remove rumors from the rumor list?
sometimes i dont wanna see that many rumors.

the good doctor has made a number of suggestions about rumor filters.
they're on my list just not very high on the priorities right now
