Hi,
Reposting from Discord as requested.
How viable would it be to add [SPACE] as a hotkey to continue to the actual combat for things like the crew combat screen (when you're selecting which of your crew will enter combat and their positions)?
Other hotkey requests:
Go from the map screen (current hotkey [2]) back to the orbit screen or landing zone. Currently you can use [3, 4] from ORBIT ONLY to land on a planet, but if you're already orbiting and you hotkey to the map with [2] you are unable to return to landing without moving mouse to corner. Suggestion would be to either enable [3, 4] from the map screen (assuming you are orbiting a planet,) or to have current map hotkey [2] toggle between map and (previous screen.)
Victory/encounter screen menu. Currently, [SPACE] will retreat if it is an option during a ship encounter, and it will "continue" if that is an option. However, other encounter dialogues have no hotkey and require clicks. Suggestion would be to enable [NUMPAD] and rank the menu choices from top to bottom, #1-#9, and only require clicks if menu options exceed this number due to talents or other special circumstances.
Bonus points if the corresponding number shows in a semi-opaque overlay over each dialogue choice to indicate which number should be pressed at a glance. (E.g. with Orchestrated Salvage, if it's rank 3 on the list of selectable options it would have a little _3_ in subscript in the bottom left corner of the dialogue rectangle.)
I will reply to this post if I think of other beneficial hotkeys.
Thanks guys!

Great ideas, I have added these to the list. If they don't make it into STF, they'll make it into the next Star Traders game!

Not sure if I need to make a new post for this to be seen but:
Arrow key navigation of other filtered menus (besides crew.)
One example is known contacts. Once I filter for a specific thing (like filter: only show contacts that offer recruits) I may want to scroll through these options quickly. This is conducted more easily through arrows than through mouse movement.

Incidentally, being able to filter by specific crew types would be useful (among other filter options) but I suppose that is a bit out of scope for a hotkey post.

Our brains cannot comprehend the awesomeness that would be ST3 - or STF2 -or STU? (Dibs on the name Star Traders Unleashed). Then you can have CKU, TBU, HSU ...
