Stealth & tactics for boarding?

does stealth and tactics used in boarding, even as a minor factor?

i know warrior is the major factor, but life as a boarder is boring after a while , cant engage in faction conflict (blockade/survey) with low tactics

I'm not sure about Tactics, but Stealth provides a small(arguably negligible) bonus chance to avoid taking captain HP loss in boarding.
