Like in real life, I don't like to stop for gas when I'm in a hurry. Sometimes I run out. Unlike in real life, my crew starts deserting, at which point I have to land on a Wilderness zone and look for fuel, resulting in the untimely death of my Shock Trooper in an unnecessary fight against Xeno.
Anyway...would it be possible to open a map of a quadrant from the Galactic Map? I can get all sorts of detailed info on the worlds and contacts in the next quadrant over, but no idea about where the systems are located.
Actually, since the quadrants always have the same geography, even posting screenshots of them in the wiki would be great.

Lol posted the wrong response to the wrong thread A simple hover will not fix that! No, it is not possible to open a quadrant map from the galactic map, nor do we anticipate we'll ever be able to bridge that technical gap due to the way the game's map system is constructed.

Well poo. Thanks anyway.
One workaround might be to post system distances in the Atlas with a little more detail, as # Jumps + # AU. Being able to put the quadrant name in the search box would be the icing on the cake.
