Because it was offered over and over literally for years, I eventually accidentally clicked on a "Mercantile Negotiation" mission for a trade good. I went to the galactic to map to find out where I needed to cultivate a contact...and I can't find it on the map. Should it be there? Is it hidden somehow? And should my contact be offering a mission for something that doesn't exist in this galaxy? (I'm aware it's remotely possible I could stumble on some while Exploring or Salvaging, but that's a longshot.)

MTKnife - hard to say without knowing which RTG. Seems possible?

Iridblablahtine...can't spell it. You know the one. I can't find it on the map at all, but I've gotten two offered missions for it, one of which I accepted by accident.

Thanks, we'll take a look. Agreed that missions should check the proc-gen map to see if an RTG exists before offering missions for it.

Ironically, years later I found 16 units of the stuff while Exploring, but that wouldn't have been enough to complete the mission. (Mind you, it's fascinating to contemplate where it might come from, where it's not generated on the map....)
