Complete noob to CK. Have played rpgs since D&D first appeared in the box with 3 books in it. Played Shadowrun when it first came out. Did Shadowrun on the nes system. I am confused by how the net running works in CK. Perhaps a more comprehensive guide would help. You are hearing 40+ years of gaming here. From the table top to pc gaming. Just making an observation on CK. Still trying to get my character up in stats. Only been playing CK for a couple of days, on a Kindle Fire. It plays a lot like nes version of Shadowrun.

The thread below will help out. It takes a bit of time to get use to navigating the matrix. You'll also need to get your hacking skill as high as possible to do effective hacking and missions. startradersrpg.proboards.com/thread/4072/complete-matrixnet-map-hacking-infoHaven't started hacking yet. Did try on MnB, but it seemed quite complicated. I didn't really take time to investigate fully. Was just getting an understanding of how the game functioned. I am enjoying running in the regular game. I'm playing on easy, but running alone. So I have been killed multiple times. Will learn hiring process soon enough. I am looking forward to run the matrix. From what I've seen of it there is a bit of work yet to be done. Not criticizing, making observations. Good game so far.

MnB is a great basic game intro. Playing at lower difficulties until you have a good understanding of the basic is the best way to get into the game. There are many old but great walkthroughs and early game guides here to help also. Constructive criticism has always been welcome on the forum and many things have go on to be included in future games. CK is old now and it's hard for the TB's to work on it. Lot's of great things that were planned or thought about will be in the new game. Welcome to the zone chummer
