I've seen many posts with useful information, tips, lists, locations for equipament/weapons/shops/places etc.

The problem with the forum is that sometimes it's not that easy to find them again. I think all the information contained in the forum would be better served in a wiki, and since there's plenty of free wikis available to choose, I wonder why there isn't one for each game by now.

grrr I wrote a very nice 2 paragraph reason why a wiki is a great thing for CK and TB...
only to have it disappear when a phone call came in...

Bottom line: a wiki for CK, hell a wiki for all TB games is a great idea. It is the next step towards a huge publisher sending a great deal down.

The mere fact that a wiki is now necessary is telling in itself!

There is a Star Traders RPG Wiki, which has a lot of killer content. Such as,

Yeah we were working on the STRPG wiki but got distracted by real life ... there is a lot of great content on there ... but it's also unfinished and some has become out of date. If anyone here feels really motivated about adding to the Wiki, lemme know.

You can just create a template wiki now, and users will slowly populate it. That's the point of wikis after all, right.

Yeah - we'd need to filter half of what you write and a quarter of what you don't write, leaving a fraction of a fraction that is actually usable.

That aside, Wikis are cool and should be implemented. With lots of graphs and pie charts. I love pie.

Oh, and a short foreword by the Trese Bros would be cool- on what influenced them, why they made their game this way, do they have weird neightbours... y'know... stuff like that.
