HVGA with ST RPG (and other TB games)

Hey guys, I'm thinking of buying my friend an android phone as a gift - he's got some crappy thing that doesn't let him play ST RPG at all.

I've only played TB games using a large screen (480x800), so can anyone throw up a couple of screenshots of what ST RPG (and TA/CK) looks like on a HVGA (320x480) screen? Do you get anything cut off, or does the game text/menus scale down appropriately?

slayernz - Cory could probably post some pics. I have a Samsung Galaxy S--would that suffice? All of our game screenshots are taken off of it.

Some other users might comment. Specific device in mind?

All of our games try to fit the screen with no cut off, but in ST, menus will go below the fold and be scrollable.

Hey Fallen thanks for the response - the Galaxy S has a 480x800 resolution so is too good for my purposes ...
examples of phones with hvga are:
HTC Explorer
HTC Wildfire-S
Sony Ericsson Xperia mini
Samsung Galaxy Pocket

Each have a screen resolution of 320x480

My HTC Hero runs 320x480. Game is perfectly playable. Fill your boots!

Edit: Just thought of the only issue I've experienced - occassionally, and seemingly randomly, the status screen sometimes misbehaves and hides the number pertaining to captain level.

Can't supply screenshots I'm afraid - don't have a PC/laptop to make my phone do such things.

HVGA is MDPI and is well supported.

LDPI has more issues but we are always working on those, especially in TA and CK

Really well priced, and 480x800 3.7" screen! Can't complain about that

my phone is hvga and not-very-good specs, game runs fine if a little slow sometimes. As alienfodder says, sometimes the captain level is hidden on the status screen as the title doesn't quite fit in. This may work in landscape but I only ever use portrait. Other than that, everything's fine.
