No, I think you'd STILL die in their hands. Only this time, it will not be random but PLANNED. ;D

Arr... I'm back for a while, matey! I've been in China for a while now and the connection to non-Sino sites is abysmal, to say the least. Can't update my game from here. has it been fixed yet?

This does cause me to think....
I find it odd that one of the encounters in Bravestar ... would include Bravestar troops beating up some hapless innocent victim... I can perfectly understand Yakuza beating on some kid for their milk money...
While I understand that the encounters and encounter types are random, some do not fit well in one particular zone. Just a though.

depends on how your CK views Brave Star, really.
What is an innocent?

Remember that bravestar is just a gang with enough money to buy a good PR rep. ;D

@gravis
The first thing that comes to my mind when it comes to Bravestar is bunch of Dirty Harry's shooting up the place with Raptor IIs ;D

Wild Wild West meets Victorian detective noir sprinkled with a teeny smatterings of plausible science fiction.
Chum, these new 'edders are the stuzziest frakkin' Loz EVER!! I had a dream where I was being controlled like a puppet by someone using an odd looking PDA.

@cory, you may use anything. EDIT: actually I don't know if Mr. Rucker has a lock on the word. I love how it sounds. I did a Google Search : Define Stuzziest and the only 2 links both go to pages for one or more of the Ware books. It keyword searched the use of Stuzzy in the past tense, as I and Mr. Rucker have both used it. I never claimed to have invented the word, and I don't think it is protected in any other format (outside of the copyright). nemesis, I am married and get it far more than most married couples wish they had it after 6 years but thanks. I am actually just that "Nerdy", with my mind in that functioning state most of the day. I do OC from time to time [ ironically it is called Focus, not some piddly ass politically correct term], but it is rough to slow or even shut my mind down.

Paddling a kayak on the open sea does wonders for, well, not shutting the mind down, which would be icky, but getting it to focus on something less self-referential.

Simply chewing gum can do wonders for focus as well....and saves on gas so you don't have to go on ocean trips to.
