Simply chewing gum can do wonders for focus as well....and saves on gas so you don't have to go on ocean trips to. Some of us have made living by the Ocean a priority in our lives for a reason. 'Going on an ocean trip' is not a penance, but a joy.

nemesis, I am married and get it far more than most married couples wish they had it after 6 years but thanks. I am actually just that "Nerdy", with my mind in that functioning state most of the day. I do OC from time to time [ ironically it is called Focus, not some piddly ass politically correct term], but it is rough to slow or even shut my mind down. I know what you mean I'm married myself and my wife nearly got on my case when I got a nerdgasm from watching The Avengers ;D @grav and gravis I'm a city boy who craves the hustle and bustle of life, so when I want to relax and shut down so to speak, I hang around the mall drinking my favorite cup of java in Starbucks

I live in the 5th largest city in the U.S. I know city life, all too well. I have to reconnect with nature to feel whole (and too also prevent sheeple massacres)

I occasionally fish, works for my reconecting with nature desires. Gotta justify the money spent on all that gear every once in a while.

Nature is cool and all but if get more than 3 days of that, I get bored and miss the smog and traffic. I guess I'm weird or just used to the grime of the city
