Thanks for the Zealot's gifts, making my favorite even more favorable.

Definitely makes the Zealot a class of captain that appeals more ... you could even make it +2 for destroy ... -1 for allowing the enemy to live. Now that would be more realistic <grin>

What did the Steel Song do to deserve this hatred? I have gathered that they seem to be generally unpopular amongst most players, but why?

Just wondering when and if the Amazon version of Star Traders Elite will be upgraded? I got my game about a week or so ago and started playing it a couple of days ago. Very engaging! Great job.

Hey India, welcome to the forum!
The Amazon version normally gets updated within a week or two of the Android market version. This is because the review process is painfully slow.
Upshot - theoretically you get better quality apps in the Amazon market, but you have to wait patiently while others are running around killing Steel Song at will. You could buy the Android Market (Play) version, but you can't import captains or unlocks from one version to another, so that's not so good.
Why is Steel Song so despised? Actually for me it was personal - I lost a number of captains to Steel Song ships (especially Hawk class pirates). When I lost a particularly promising Crazy difficulty captain, I just snapped, and decided that I would dedicate my ST life to making Steel Song pay for all the wrongs of the galaxy.

Thanks for the reply. I don't mind waiting a little for the update, so long as I know it's in the works. My poor phone seems to be solely devoted lately to your game. (Yes, I'm one of those odd people who buy from Amazon's app store even though I don't have a Kindle!) So glad you guys made such a great game without any of the permissions that seems so prevalent in other games. I shall definitely leave a glowing review. That is, once I have some time away from exploring deep space.

Haha ... I know how you feel ... I spent 8 months ONLY playing ST ... I've since diversified a little, but not much.

It's the circle on the flag that looks like a gunsight. Clear instructions from our Dev what we are supposed to do to Steel Song!

It's the circle on the flag that looks like a gunsight. From the sounds of others here, perhaps equally as much a target for the torpedo guidance system! I have not felt any particular dislike towards them, but pehaps the day will come when I find a (Steel) dagger in the back of one of my promising captains...

It's the circle on the flag that looks like a gunsight... Every child can read the heraldic signs of the Steel Song Flag: On a brightly coloured background sits a centered symbol of an all-seeing-eye with a constricted pupil. Both indicate the psychedelic condition, in which the well known and feared Steel Song Samurai chop through their foes.
