The new H20/Fuel Price discount for rank blew my mind this weekend. Its nice to be back hunting bounties at Rank 9 and not harvesting or trying to find a faction I can buy H2O/Fuel from without a rep penalty.

Starting out with Escape shuttle for Picky Beggar is an ok idea. The first time I had to use it I was able to commandeer another vessel easily. I never buy escape shuttle, however, until I have other vessels in dry dock. Its pretty unlikely the Escape Shuttle could take a larger vessel when playing on Hard or Crazy. May I suggest your next starting ship upgrades be the Smugglers hold for Fidei Defensor and Weapons Cabinet for Serpent Tooth? Those would be much more useful!

Those are both good suggestions for starting upgrades -- Holds and Cabinets were also on my mind.
