New cyberknight Female II 7.09.
Went to Smith Biomedical in Old Church.
Installed Hand Blades I (for 900 Y)
I will let you know how purchasing the others go as I raise enough cash to afford them, assuming I live long enough which is far from certain. So far the score is 'Alpha Hell Hunds 17, CyberKnight Female II 0' -- all before I can raise the crucial amount of money to afford a kraken suit. 17 dead knights in custom insta die now, these being knights I was intrerested in keeping alive. Getting sandwiched in a corridor between 2 dogs when your firearms skill is low enough that you cannot reliably kill things that are 1 square away is, really, really disasterous for Female II.
Maybe I go test this with a not-instadie version of Female II.

Ok, raised enough cash.
Went to Saytek Medical in Dorchester.
Bought Combat Blades
Mars Corp
Implant DV: 25
Rating 3
Y12500
Nothing prevented me from doing so.
The Hand Blades have a rating of 1.
And I have systematically visited every hotel and cyberware clinic in the NBZ and not found any blades with a rating of 2 that fall between those, so I think they no longer exist, if they ever did. My memory may be inventing them -- I may have assumed they existed because there was a rating 1 and a rating 3 blade.

I'm getting some weird glitches when I play as Female 2.the mini map shrinks and only the arrows are visible.also I'm losing Rep with the los VAL whenever I take a contract from an encounter in their territory.is this supposed to happen?

If so, what is not working at the moment? no actually cory may move this thread but i need to wander off topic momentarily.i have a few questions regarding hacking.first,once the node goes into the red are we able to still find data?if not why are we allowed to continue to hack nodes at that point?second concerns the conflict feature.random conflicts pop up and i was wondering if those are exploitable at the present time? |

Faction Cop - About the conflicts and rumors -- yes, they are "exploitable." More so, you can plan your activities around them and profit in major ways. There are big-time increase / decrease in the cost of items, the value of a contract, the value of paydata you are selling based around these world events. You can make a lot more money from your paydata if you line up your sale with the right rumor!
