It's definitely nice to have ranged non-lethal weapons, but they're pretty ineffective compared to the "real" guns. Since the game encourages non-lethal play by the Heat mechanism, it'd be nice to have some more options even if they cost more than the lethal alternatives. Like a rifle with longer range, or a "double barrel" or "cluster" stungun with higher Speed.

Hello! And welcome to the forums.
I haven't managed to play with the brand new (GP update 15 minutes ago) more accurate Mars blaster, but what you say about ineffective applies only to the ranged weapons. The Yakashima Blue glove you can buy, among other places, in Back Bay Imports is the most effective weapon in the game.
Blaster weapons may to less damage, but they do mental damage. And, aside from the grey Drone class of robots, every enemy in the game has MP <= PP. Which means it takes less to incapacitate them with MP damage.
This new gun may be the weapon of choice for female 2 players, who cannot use gloves. I am about to test this now.
Not that I would object if we got a non-lethal ranged weapon, even if it needed magic expensive bullets ..... (dream).
Welcome to the forums.

One of my CK - Terminator T17 (on max difficulty lvl, previous 16 are dead) doesnt know word 'mercy'. His team too. only survivors are accidentialy stunned by mauls hitted by one of runners, and all capture missions are always end with fails, cant wait for swords
I can tell you - hight heat can be really exciting

Ares Gamma Mk4 ------------------ The prototype revision of the Ares Gamma platform, the Mk4 sets a new bar for the non-lethal weapons market. Featuring an integrated SmartTARGET interface, the Mk4 makes target acquisition immediate and pin-point accurate. Accuracy: 5 It would be nice if this weapon, which I haven't been able to find yet, was sold in Mars Corp Territory. I've checked the Six Shooter Club, Crash Mansion, Midway Club, Mars Corp Importers, Mercury Arms Tower, Fairlight Defense HQ, Fairlight Outfitters and the Mercury Arms Surplus Store and come up empty. EDIT: AHA! Found one. For Sale by AzTek in the Killing Naga Club in North Square. Surely this is the wrong store for this? And, of course, Tekka House of Guns in Southie has one, for those wishing to try this thing but not feeling up to walking around in Corps Territory.

I placed it using our internal documentation ... sounds like it is out of date. I'll look into it
