Since most of the players of CK are from the dice and paper era of role playing, why don't we start sharing how we picture the back story of our characters ;D

Nemesis Enforcer started as a down in his luck youth with Japanese and Irish ancestry. He came from what was left of what was once known as California to make his fortune in NBZ. With family contacts in both the Fennians and the Yakuza he was able to climb the "ladder' in Yakashima as a Senior Oyabun in Internal Security (Black Ops Division) specializing in wetwork tactics and industrial sabotage. With both brutal cunning and no morals, he continues to dominate the cyber knight sector of the NBZ.

Akira Nishigumi was born in 2082 in grew up as the beloved second son of a promiment member of the Sumiyoshi-rengo chivalrous organization (ninkyō dantai). Born in 2185, in Fukuoku (city), the family suffered reverses during the internal power struggles of the 2190s, eventually having to leave Japan for duties in the NBZ. Akira still misses the orange trees and parks of his youth. His family always intended him to follow in the family tradition of stealth warrior, training him to be a Sniper from his early teenaged years. Unfortunately for their ambitions, Akira was also given to watching ancient 2 dimentional 20th century Samurai movies, especially those by once legendary, now largely forgotten director Akira Kurosawa, in search for his Japanese roots.
He became convinced that his family had lost it's way, becoming no better than gangsters. In addition he developed the notion that it was shameful to use ranged weapons of any sort. Disowned by his grieving family, Akira now plies his skills for the Free Streets of the NBZ, but his secret dream is to return to Japan. His personal code calls for him to never kill those enemies who were honourable enough to engage him in melée combat, while never suffering those that, in their cowardice use rifles and handguns to live.

hmmmm.... Looks like only grav and I thought of what their character's back story would be  No one else from the old roleplaying crowd imagined what their characters are like in their mind?

A capable melée fighter (self-taught), and possessing adequate ability with ranged weapons, Stryker always displayed a keen interest and ability with technology. He did small jobs for people as a teenager, scraping just enough money together to get a dataport implant - he then quickly entered the hacking and data smuggling business. This meant he gained the animosity of many, many people, as he became infamous with large corporations for regularly attacking their firewalls, stealing information, selling it, then returning to take more. These were not his only targets, however - he has been known to hack literally any MatrixNet terminal he comes across. This compulsion to hack has not always helped him - he has been known to favour some of the independent streets (some believe he does this (and fights the mega-corporations more often than others) due to left-wing tendencies, believing in leadership of people how they want to be led), though he has been unable to make up for past thefts over the MatrixNet.
