I'm sure it's obvious lol, but I was curious what exactly happens and what's affected and by how much when you press intimidate following a successful battle. Is it currently implemented? If possible, could you code it in to where you see a notification of any changes when it's pressed and utilized? I'm assuming the intimidation skill somehow relates and attributes to the effects as well? Thanks! =)

I don't think that Cory has released the exact formula, but the idea of the initimidation button is to lower the heat you receive when you successfully conclude encounters. (Nope, sorry, didn't see a thing.) I don't know a lot about it because I never use it -- taking the stealth exit is a more effective way to reduce the amount of heat you generate.

It supposedly reduces heat when you loot opponents after combat. I'm not really sure if it works but I click it when I grab drops ;D

@cory and Andrew
What is the heat reduction when you hit the intimidation button after combat and what is the reduction progression when you increase the intimidation skill?

@cory and Andrew What is the heat reduction when you hit the intimidation button after combat and what is the reduction progression when you increase the intimidation skill? It rolls some dice. We'll get into documenting and debating this stuff when we release the secondary button update package which should be next week. That will replace Intimidate/Aim and Button #3 in Encounters will a class specific behavior. We'll get into Intimidate's function once it's a class specific ability (and put all the numbers into the help file.)
