Combat and Captain Portraits

After you have defeated a ship in combat it only shows the stats of that ship. Can it be made to show your ship stats also so you can compare them together to see if you want to replace your current ship?

Captain portraits for each faction and the ability to choose to be male or female? Also have captain portraits for the NPC ships too.

Maybe change the combat screen to show the captain portraits (have the captains say some witty banter under the portrait, like “You just killed 20 of my crew you will pay for that!”) instead of the stats of each ship.

The only problem with portraits is it takes away from the ability to imagine how your captain looks like. Also that could end up being a LOT of portraits to keep repeat NPC portraits from happening. Those files would fatten up the program more. Plus you need the stats of enemy ship after the fight so you could figure out if you want to steal it.

Also, wouldn't it be the job of your Number 2 to bring the Brown Pants?
