Wow the map is amazing !! very impressive Thanks Fenikso I still have the old copies of the map we used when Elite came out and we where looking at all the extra planets & checking that they were in the right place Lol Times have changed & they gotten only better.... Can't wait to start using this.

Okay, I've been doing some skunkwork stuff on the map and thought I was onto a winner. I was trying this out: www.maplib.net/fullmap.php?id=15321&legend=1The great news is that it uses the Google Map API to do the fancy map zoom stuff. THe bad news is that with the free account, I can't get all the planet markers in place at the same time. I can do about 30 or so markers at a time, but given there are more than 60 urban areas and more wild areas, even purchasing a pro account would not give me enough markers! Grrrr ... I'm sharing what I have so far (have populated all of the urban areas, but haven't finished the wild areas). I also have the map as a large PNG file. I'f I get too frustrated, I'll just annotate that map and upload it here for your enjoyment

Cory, if you want to expand on this, I'll happily give you rights to add/edit/modify the map. Alternatively, we can figure out how to use the google map APIs and come up with something better. Ideally, I want to get to this state: grandtheftauto.ign.com/maps/1/Liberty-City-Map

melcockles - the map should be exactly the same. Also, the map does not change throughout the life of a game, so you can reference it at any time.

fallen - since you said the map was the same I decided to have a closer look. Using the map just posted by slayernz... My map ends at an x of 11. Then again at an x of 9. So my map is much smaller than on the android version. If it matters, I'm running an ipad2 with v1.0.3 and am playing on Diff 3. I've had a few missions that took me a bit off the map, but in others posts it was said that just due to overlapping the HUD.

melcockles - the map posted by slayernz details the full map available with the Elite upgrade. It is many times larger than the free map.
