Well, think of it this way. If power was required to keep stuff moving in space, the earth and other planets would have fallen into the sun a long, long time ago. About the Pirates thing. Cory yu said they could report my illegal activities. But what if I wasn't doing anythng illegal? Another thing, it makes sense that when I have a negative rep, any hostile action I take would give them an exuse to label me wanted and justify executing me. But if I'm just breaking embargoes and I'm not a wanted criminal cause I didn't do anything wrong yet, then wouldn't that mean they wouldn't execute me as long as I don't take any action against them (hostility, surveilence/blockade, contract, ignoring military)?

Yes -- correct, you describe the way the game works.
Execute requires a massively negative reputation to trigger.

Wait, so if I have a rep of -50, but I'm not wanted, and I surrender to their military, they won't execute me correct? Also, how about making it so you only get negative rep if pirates catch you doing blockade/surveilence for their faction? Otherwize you could be doing nothing illegal and get branded a wanted criminal. This is what happened to me. I was simply trading spice, pirates looted me and all of a sudden I get a notification: "you are now a wanted criminal". But I was doing nothing illegal. Please change

I don't think we have all the details about who's Pirate and what the repuation and current conflicts were.
You say "please change" but I have no idea what I would change based on the report you have posted.
Please explain the details if you think we should make a change then a good debate with the forum and the data will benefit the game -- no changes can be made in isolation or on snap decisions!

Sure. There are actually 2 things Id like to be changed, if its okay with you.
1. No matter how bad your rep is, not to be executed unless your a wanted criminal. This is because a bad reputaton means a faction doesn't like you, but the wanted criminal status says your wanted by law. E.g. if you have a rep of -100 with clan javat but no wanted status, and I encounter a military clan javat ship, and I surrender, I do not get in trouble (e.g. execution) as even though clan javat hates my guts I'm not wanted by law. 2. With pirates to not lose rep unless I'm in the proess of doing something againsttheir faction. E.g. im in the middle of blockading clan javat when I encounter a clan javat pirate. I battle them and lose. I get wanted criminal status or a rep penalty as they report the illegal activity I was doing against clan javat. On the other hand, I'm trading with de valtos spice when clan javat pirates attack me. When I lose, no rep penalty is made as I was doing nothing wrong toward clan javat when the pirates encuntered me. Make sense?
