So I am stumped. I have tried this level more times than I can count. I have read through the help gyide but I'm still getting my arse kicked in this level. Anyone have some tips on this level?

That's the last level in the Infernus campaign (the only free campaign, iirc) right? That was a ridiculously hard level for me, too. I ended up beating it with only two knights left. Usually I restart as soon as I lose a guy, but I refused to do that level again, as I lost them close to the end.
What I ended up doing was actually waiting for the first (maybe first two, don't remember) purple xenos before moving into the tunnel. Then I moved all four units through the long corridor with three of them facing backwards. It was slow, but usually I could kill any attacking purples before they did any damage. In the end though, I had to abandon my two vets so that the captain and scout could sprint through to the end. By the way, they took the middle low path.

@lhking - it may be a level that breaks your squad, as chromeada said. I haven't been unable to get through it either without loosing honorable soldiers in those hellish tunnels. Put an emphasis on moving at a safe pace and not taking risks until the end when you are within sprinting distance.

This reminds me of a feature that would be nice to add: the ability to select individual missions from the campaigns once you've beaten them. I understand the balancing problem there, but doing an early campaign level can't be any more imbalanced than doing moons of nachot-ugo over and over. Just something to consider, in any case.

Finally concored the level.. Kept my group tight and strategically sockeyed the group keeping the more damaged marines in the middle of the group. It worked fantastically!

@lhking - great work! Following the Templar Battle Code and never leaving a brother behind. Congrats, and may your squad roll onto glory.

WOW, I meant to type Jockeyed nnot sockeyed. LOL
I'm so used to setting up an overwatch century to cover corridors. But that strategy is out the window on a level like this. The overwatch gets overwhelmed and eventualy crumbles. Teamwork is the name of the game here.
BTW, what a fantastic game. I've been waiting for someone to make another game like this. I've been a big fan of the Space Hulk games and this game doesn't dissapoint.
