1. Don't play Female II until you have become reasonably successful with Female I or Male. She is much harder to play. 2. I assume that you understand how turn-and-action-point based games work. Maybe I should write a guide to them, though, for people who haven't played such things before. 3.. With the exception of Drones, whom you shouldn't run into at your tender age, since you should be staying in ganger territories rather that taking missions in corps, KH, or Bravestar land, every monster that you meet has mental points which are less than or equal to its physical points. This means that it is easier to killl them with mental damage than physical damage. So you need a mental damage weapon. The best sort of these, by far, is the blue taser glove, and the best brand of blue glove is the MT-Taser Unit sold at the Back Bay Importers of Old Kenmore (among other places). Then you need the fighting skill to use this properly. Surprisingly, 3 points of brawling is enough for the earliest time. (This is not to say that you shouldn't raise your brawling to higher, when you can). The reason that you can have good results even with such a poor rating is that the Yakashima MT Taser Unit has a speed of 4, while guns and rifles tend to have a speed of 1 or 2. Speed, which Cory is going to get around to changing to 'rate' one of these days, is the number of shots/blows you give others on an attack. So automatic pistols also tend to have a high 'speed' -- but they make up for it in needing many AP to use. The taser glove, on the other hand, is one of the least expensive in AP weapons to use, with a cost of only 3. Then read this thread about starting character XP allocation. startradersrpg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=ckrpgtalk&action=display&thread=2569 . It's written about how to keep characters alive when playing brutal, but it will work for you too. 4. You need a computer that holds more than 1 job. After you have bought your blue glove, getting it should be your next priority. You can get an inexpensive 2 job computer at Back Bay Importers. There is an affordable (8.6K) 3 job computer available at Mars Corp Importers at Charlesbank. 5. Your worst problem, as a character now, is that you don't have enough Action Points (AP). You boost AP permanently by putting more points in dex, int and per. Before fights you should boost your AP by taking stims until your MP is 10 or more. That will give you a potential 2 extra AP (a d3, where Cory's d3s have sides labelled 0, 1, 2). 6. You shouldn't be using guns now, but if you are using them these aren't the ones you should be using. Your AP problem is especially acute because you are using the HNK-447 automatic pistol. The speed 4 is nice on this gun, but a power of 3 and a penetration of 4, combined with an accuracy of 2 means that when you hit something -- which at least on brutal would be a rather rare event even with 5 points of firearms skill -- you won't do much damage. You would be better off using the Yakashima mk251 bounty that you can buy at Back Bay Importers. The Scout Carbo Mag is particularly worthless because it has a power of 3 and a speed of 1. -- your lightfire is a better weapon. Replace it with either the Yakashima 251 bounty or the Strumwhelger M2. If -- since you are playing on Easy -- you are actually hitting your targets reliably even with an accuracy 2 weapon, then you want to buy a HunterSight, that has Power 7 and Penetration 7 (and accuracy 2). Or if you love automatic weapons, there are some better ones available at Remington Arms -- but look at their AP requirements. You will need to raise your AP before you start using them. Mars Corp makes some other interesting automatic pistols, but I have found that it is more effective to use rifles instead, at least while you don't have much in the way of AP, because the difference between a speed of 2 and a speed of 1 is crucial at then. But if you want a Pistol then I think the AutoMag Neuvolver, or the Raptor 2 is the one to get, once its accuracy of 2/3 doesn't mean that you don't land any shots at all. Power 6 Penetration of 6 is very nice to have in a pistol. Since you only get one shot, it had better do the job. AutoMag Neuvolvers are Power 5 Penetration of 7, I see, it is the Raptor 2s that are 6/6 .... I think this is enough to keep you going for a while. Good luck, and ask away if you have any questions. This is what the board is for, after all. and Welcome to the Forums. Grävling

Thanks Badger! I've taken everything you said into account, and am now ready to start a new game on normal with all the advice you have given me.
I guess the only question I currently have remaining is: In CK is there a Max amount of XP you can gain/use or will I be able to keep "growing" as I see fit?

There are skill and attribute maximums. Cyberknights can have an unaugmented maximum of 9 for every attribute, and 12 for every skill -- this means that if you have, for example, +1 brawling due to an implant you can indeed get your brawling to 13, no matter what profession you are.
In addition, every profession has a single skill than can be raised to unaugmented 16. Hacker = hacking, cybersword = brawling, gunslinger = firearms, sniper=stealth, Agent X = athletics, Face = negotiate.

Hopefully you aren't running the "Elite" version on YouWave as I understand it you can only run pirated copies of the game in those emulators.

Hopefully you aren't running the "Elite" version on YouWave as I understand it you can only run pirated copies of the game in those emulators. I am running the Elite version on YouWave. I payed for it though. Step 1.) Download and buy activation code for YouWave Step 2.) Download "Installer" on YouWave Step 3.) Use "Installer" to get Google Market Step 4.) Purchase Games P.S. I also play them on my Droid Razr, but i'f i'm at home I prefer using my mouse and keyboard. P.S.S. Pirating is disrespectful to the creator of said works. I always pay for things I use. I can also Screenshot my Google Receipt when they send it to me. Attachments:

Please accept my humble apologies for my comments. I feel like an idiot. You had every right to ask, it's YOUR work that could be stolen. If I made these awesome games, i'd look out for Pirating too

Trying to get YouWave set up on my PC so I can use it for testing.
Any clues on how to get Market?
I am not sure what this means:
Step 2.) Download "Installer" on YouWave Step 3.) Use "Installer" to get Google Market

You Wave is like $15 USD, and it looks like you can get it working pretty easily.
One of my personal friends doesn't have a smartphone but wanted to try the games.
YouWave worked for him.
