Bring old captain into Elite?

Is it possible to use your basic game captain in the Elite version?

I've put in way too many hours, and I'm doing too well to want to just quit.

Working on this feature right now, literally, as we speak. Should be in the update after next.

We do update Star Traders RPG the same day, so if you wait, buy now or buy later you'll still get to enjoy your captain.

OK so for this feature I am trying to save some time.

What if I only copy the following:

- Captains
- Ships
- Ranks / Reps

I would not copy

- Current Contracts
- Current Rumors
- Current Faction Conflicts
- Current Faction Attitudes
- Current Deep Space Radiation Fields
- Stashes
- Current City Upgrades
- Ect

That seems fine to me. No reason a player can't do a little prep like finish a contract and empty out a cache before moving over.
