Hi guys, First of all, kudos on the animations and the sprites for the main character - they look really nice! Congratulations I was wondering if you would consider making it animate/move so that, if he's walking like 10 squares, he doesn't need to stop at each square, but will just keep moving? Intuitively I would think it's just a matter of cutting a couple of frames when he's going to keep moving. Alternatively, you just need two animation cycles: - One where he's moving, - One for when he's going to stop at the square where he's arriving Still, great stuff, I like it a lot. A second thing I was going to suggest would be if you'd consider making him walk a tad faster - not overly, but just a bit. At the moment, and given that he stops at every square, it feels a bit slow. Also, it would be great if he didn't stop when we click a different square when he's moving, but would move there instead. If we want him to stop we can just tap the center of the screen, where he is. I hope it makes sense. Cheers, and keep up the great work! Paulo

pjft - thanks for the feedback. Glad you like the animations. With a new piece like that, it always take a while to work out the quirks and the timing, so we will see if we need to speed up the walk speed and can work on reducing the pause between squares.

Yes, very nice job. There is one thing that is annoying me, though. When the character goes to a building, he reaches the door and then turns so he is facing you and in effect he backs in through the doorway. I'd rather see the back of his coat as he turns away from you and goes face first through the door. I'd also like it better if he stopped turning out to face you when moving from one neighbourhood to another, interrupted with an encounter, etc.
I think his stride is a little long when going east and west -- my word he must have long legs! Walking towards you, his legs seem shorter. But that is very minor.

grävling - we will fix the "direction turning" thing shortly. Daniel's legs also just got a bit shorter!

Good to see the game on the come up. Sometimes I feel like not playing for a couple of months to see all the improvements all at once, but I just can't put my self to it. I always end up playing this game or star trader rpg.

The 7.25 animations look better. I still end up turning them off for increased speed, though.
