My credits increased slowly at first but steadily up to 6.5 M. I hovered at that level for several weeks and now I'm down to about 6.1M. I pay around 60-70K a week if I use a couple of my top runners. My top gunslinger reached maximum attribute and skill levels at 2014 XP or around 22K pay for five days work. I am now paying over 40K. I am paying for XP that can never be used. At the current rate I'm going to spend 6 million credits a lot faster than I earned them. If there is going to be a cap on attributes and skills, shouldn't there also be a cap on runners' pay?
I certainly plan to make this guy a partner when that feature is available but that won't solve the problem. I have nearly a dozen runners who are about to reach maximum skill level.

@boudreaux - you are a rich man. CK-488 to force the cost of runners to be set on XP Spent and not XP Total (including ready).

uhm, if (what I guess) he achieved it on brutal, he had a) enough time to do it b) a little luck at the start. as far as I have read yet, even on brutal the biggest problem is the start. if you achieved enough cash (-> nano-medkits and gear)and XPs (-> skills and atributes), the difficulty isn't so hard any more. but anyway: reaching more than one million seems much cash. I had 150k before updating to elite and buying wired reflexes III plus some other stuff. but on the other hand, I have only oooo little time to spend in the NBZ ...

That's what I found too. I haven't made it past 2.3M¥, but the vast majority of my income has been from hacking. My beast Hacker, with the Logans is a one man army. I usually don't run with more than an additional team member. His real toughness isn't on the real battlefield, much as a nasty melee fighter he has turned out to be. His Endurance online is amazing. I seemingly zip through systems with nary a failure roll, grabbing this, snatching that. and moving from system to system in one session downloading files like crazy. I know I have run through at least half the systems or more in one session. Usually you do this stimmed up like the rest of the NBZ. So you go to sleep! wake up, sell some data, and sleep. ( Even heard they were making somethin' called Honey Badger Come Down Cream. Its for those Jesters that want less coma after a stuzzed out bender for 3 weeks. If I had my way, I make em pills, pardon the pun: Cook's Coma-Lite. essential vitamins, nutrients, protein strands, and silicates. )
Chumsky, I gotta tell you. That ICS upgrade was amazing. Intra-Cranial Storage. more MP for the ¥. Doc said I would start having side effects in other areas with prolonged and sustained usage. Said they manifest slightly different per person but recommends Free Electron Therapy, long with regular fMRI scans. Maybe ICS isn't the name, but ummm it wasn't cheap. Wait...who are you again?
