I think you should change the wording of that message to 'Your reputation in the destination zone is '. As it stands, if I take a mission from Vinny the rat to operate against Streets by delivering a package to Knight Horizon, it isn't clear to me whether you are reporting what my reputation is with Streets, the target reputation-wise of this contract, or my reputation with KH, my target destination-wise of this contract. If you changed the wording, this would be clear.

For assassinations and captures, it's even worse, as here 'target' already has a different meaning.

Hmmm, now it seems that what you are reporting is the reputation with the faction that you are operating against, not the heat & rep at the location where you are going, which is what I thought you were reporting. So my last note probably didn't make sense to you.

So if I could make this mistake, it must be confusing. I think that the problem is that so many missions are 'against X in a territory controlled by X'. So can you change things
from 'your reputation with the target is' to your reputation with Los V (or whoever) is?

Actually, I think that what the heat is like where you are thinking about going would be a more useful thing to know, if you could provide that. Maybe I got confused because I was reading what I wanted to see as information, not what you actually put there -- I just assumed that what I found more interesting was what you must have done. Sorry.
