Hello!
I wanted to change my rom, so I performed a backup of my apps (using My Backup). I wasn't able to change the rom but I had to use my backup because of wipe via recovery menu. I was able to launch Star Traders, but after i choosed "continue" there was an error and application was closed. I deleted star straders, but in android market it looked like an installed app, I saw "uptade available", but when I pressed "update" I saw another error and marked was closed... I deleted android market information (data/data/com.android.vending/cache and data/data/com.android.vending/databases) and was finaly able to download the game. Now it works fine, but there is no savefile of my bounty hunter.
Any chances for me?

If you uninstalled the game without a backup, I cannot help.
There are a lot of experts (ekamp?) on here about backups of Star Traders RPG games files.
I hope someone posts on here -- the files may very well be inside of "My Backup" !

The backupped app looks like this: com.corytrese.games.startraders_69.apk com.corytrese.games.startraders_69.zip in the zip file there are: shared_prefs and databases folders I installed the game using the backup .apk file, then i copied the folders to data/data/com.corytrese.games.startraders/ directory, and I still experience an error after choosing 'continue' EDIT: The saved captain data is in file 'data' which can be found in folder 'databases'. I copied only this one file from my backup. I can see my captain's name, but again after choosing 'continue' there's an error, so the file that causes the problem is definitely the 'data' file. Does someone know any way to fix the file, so I won't have to start from the begining?
