When I run out of fuel and the morality of the crew drops to level critical I just know my captain is screwed. Haha, that's the best one yet. When the morale of my crew drops I get a mutiny. Glad they have yet to drop their morality. I think I'd rather be tossed out the airlock than to hear my crew tell me to grab my ankles.

I'm not sure why but I've always enjoyed upgrading my 8 hull escape shuttle with another 8 hull escape shuttle. Gotta love those Javat techies.

Just thought of one other thing. There's a Rychart fringe planet called Octolax. All I can ever think of when I see that is "Octopus Laxative." Because there's nothing worse than a backed up cephalopod!

So...flying around with 1 crew and I get a mutiny. My captain mutinied against himself. He has the SpACe-MaDNeSs.
The captain is also rather fecund: after landing or eacaping, my crew of 1 can balloon to 5 or 21! Is he/she (it?) asexual?

"The prince, Mykial-Thulon, High Acolyte, greets in the name of House Thulun. You are announced to the court as a Criminal.". Just think about that, for a second. ;-). I also love when water-fuel, food, and clothing are outlawed. Naked people who are dying of thirst and starvation. .

I'm not sure what the etiquette is regarding replying to old threads, but I remembered this thread from a while back, didn't see a newer one, and figured it would be best not to create a duplicate topic. Honestly, I think this one is worthy of a sticky. Anyway, I laughed when I saw this. I find it funny that it's legal to buy and sell on the black market, and funnier that it's the ONLY legal place for us Star Traders.

The chances of you finding a starport expansion are inversely proportional to just how much money you have on you at any given time.

If you live for 120-odd years and kill an alien or two, you will destroy them. But then you'll take two or three steps and find that there's apparently an army of them following you for unknown reasons (no artifacts, no rumors in area).
The Short: Goddamn aliens will destroy you even when you win by simply throwing more ships at you. Rest in Peace, Bounty Hunter Nutterz (lvl 25ish).

If I remember correctly defeating an alien increases your chances of encountering another alien for the next 25 weeks. I once had it happen that a captain encountered something like 7 aliens in 30 wks. He was a good runner, but you can only run so long.
