Actually, Steel Song is no better. Just look at their planets. The top left Quadrant ones are as separated as they can be. Xenox is in the middle of nowhere. And the bottom left Quadrant is isolated, meaning there is no real trade route. They have no profit whatsoever from trading and their teapots are the sole reason they haven't gone bankrupt.

We don't need planets. Our miltary is space based and will happily visit any of yours for whatever they need. As far as I'm concerned, the clans exist to plunder, and the other syndicates exist to produce bounty hunters and pirates so I can replenish my rep with the clans. Who needs planets? Cadar UTF and remote outposts are just glorified torp storage boxes. Go ahead, make my day. Solar war. Seriously. Right now. Please? What if we declare it? What if we sell you the ships, then we declare war? What if we sell you the ships, and then let you all declare war at the same time? Tell you what? We'll have our people call your people. We're sending them right now. We've even had them packaged for your convienience. You see, we dont need planets, prosperity, economy, sanity, or any of your petty materialistic vanities. We'll just take yours.

All of the above, and the occasional Rabid Rabbit thrown into the mix just to shake things up a bit.

You see, we dont need planets, prosperity, economy, sanity, or any of your petty materialistic vanities. That is a fabulous rationalization. Can't get it? Just say you don't want it and keep polishing your own torps! Long live Chowdar!

I observed a little something that can help cheese the game. If you're in a battle and exit the program, after you relaunch it, the battle is over. You still have all the damage you got, but at least you survived, huh

Stand and fight, for the glory of our tapestries!...I mean the clan! Didn't actually know about this, though. good find

Yeah, that's an old issue with how the game was made. Cory asked us not to post too much about it as it effectively breaks the game's difficulty.

I just find it rather funny how I've been playing the game for more than five years already not consulting the manual once.
Not knowing the difference between speed and agility, always stacking all the training points in Pilot and Stealth, - so I can run away from every fight, and having virtually no idea how to deal with Trade Bans, smuggling, exploring, and caching.
