when Templar is facing xeno even 3-4 squares away, he cant turn, really annoying especially on maps with big rooms like in Siege of Roavin when squad is attacked from many sides on open space 2 or 3 times I lose Templars becouse of that on attached screenshot my Templar also couldn turn becouse behind the wall in diagonal was alien... This is an old problem it is a bigger problem now with the new firing arcs. When there is a enemy in range front of you, if you tap another enemy (such as one in your "turn this way" indicator) the game takes that as an order to go into attack mode and highlights your valid targets in front of you. With new firing arcs, there are more valid targets so it happens more often. You can work around it and turn by tapping any square beyond the turn indicator, as long as it is in a straight line from the left or right side from the templar.
A simple partial fix for this is to have orange turn indicator outlines around every square to the sides of the templar, which would indicate to the player that any of those squares will make a turn. An added button to toggle between "move' and" attack " modes would fix the problem

rico - thanks for pointing out the work around! We are doing some work here on re-vamping the UI for the combat map, so thanks for the good suggestions!

It may very well be best fixed by changing the placement of the orange square.
We will investigate some solutions ASAP!
