Hello,

Had an idea for some rewards you could add to hacking... sorry if this was previously mentioned or thought of...

You could bury some one-time skill/attrib bonus, deep inside the Matrix, which could be downloaded to enhance your character. Divide up all the skills/attribs and allocate one bonus find to each of the 10 factions. I hope that makes sense, the way I explained it.

Also, throw in a few opportunities to do some illegal wire transfers and rob the factions of their ¥.

Anyways, just two simple (and, most likely, already-thought-of) ideas for enhancing the hacker experience and rewards.

I like the skill idea. Say one node has a small chance of one day giving a link to a hidden node. This node could have higher than average firewall, and give a skill rather than paydata. Granted, I'm thinking in the current matrix format. I have no idea what's planed.

@hackingidea - the matrix is one of the systems we haven't fleshed out yet. A lot of your ideas are in the designs that we do have on paper, but we are first doing some work on the politics, rumors, and factions of the NBZ to "liven them up." Matrix is one of the next items on the list, so stay tuned!

I wish there was a way to read or know how much paydata you have downloaded and from each faction while still connected to the matrix or while using a phone when you are trying to get a specific amount of data other then fully disconnecting then reconnecting

@readouts - great request. We should allow for a way to see your computer read out (memory) and your faction data counts (paydata) while hacking--that would really help full-time hackers. You got issue # CK-650
