One idea I have for Street Wars. High Rep with one memeber adds a chance to receive reinforcements during an encounter with the enemy faction.
An ex: LosV continuasly raids Boston Commons from Common Wealth. Say, if you had 50+ LosV Rep, and are attacked by Yakuz in Boston Commons during a Street War, you have a small chance of being backed up HyperPunks,Gunslingers, Hunds, and (if your trusted enough) a Gang Boss might even assist.

When a zone has no weapons or armor for sale, perhaps there could be a +rep bonus or you get twice its value for selling them. This could be a good way of building good reputations with factions.

Trade won't really take off in CK until we release Components and Drops, but the Rumor and Conflicts milestone will form the backbone of the economic simulation in the game, you are correct about that.
