Faction Status Button

I think that a faction status button could be useful while encoutering enemy in space. It could help to choose if it's good idea to retreat, or if we have high enough reputation to attack and take free cargo to sell I don't know what other people think about it, but it would help guys like me, who never remeber what status with which fraction they have

I agree. Sometimes two factions suddenly become friendly with eachother, and whilst you've been building up relations with one faction, you've been working hard to blow the other one out of the heavens. Now all of a sudden you find killing Javat scum makes Cadar want to demote you! Knowing faction info would be useful before it's too late

I guess that's what a political officer could help out with (should you have one).

Actually, what would be nice to have (changing the topic a little) is in the Faction Politics screen, if you click on an icon, it brings up all of the relationships with other factions.
Eg, clicking on Thulun's icon brings up:
vs Javat:
Thulun is currently in a Solar War with Javat
Thulan is currently in a Trade Embargo with Javat

vs Steel Song:
There are no issues between Thulun and Steel Song

vs De Valtos:
Thulun is in an alliance with De Valos

vs Cadar:
Thulun is in a trade alliance with Cadar

vs Rychart:
There are no issues between Thulun and Rychart

That feature is on my list -- a general "Faction Status" report with information about all rumors, conflicts and contracts for a single Faction, as well as planet list and waypoint buttons.

The fast changing relationships between Houses and Syndicates is other thing, so it would be really nice to have 'status' button next to 'battle' nad 'surrender/acknowledge'
